Girl with the red balloon

Girl with red balloon was formed with #paperclay and then covered with strips of paper and painted with acrylics. The size of the wall plaque is 30.5 x 31.5 and 2cm. It is ready to hang from a hook at the backside.

Girl with glasses, Girl with red hair

Girl with red hair and Girl with glasses were both formed with #paperclay and then covered with strips of paper. Small beads were used as necklaces around their necks. And wire were used to form the glasses.They were then painted with acrylic paint and finished with a varnish. Both plaques are 12 x 17cm in size.The plaques are ready to hang.

 Girl with the violin and Girl with the daisie were both formed with #paperclay and then covered with strips of paper. They were then painted with acrylic paint and finished with a varnish. Both plaques are 10 x 30cm in size.The plaques are ready to hang.

New members to the paper mâché family: Pa en dogter

Pa en dogter's faces was sculpt with paper clay and the father's face and body was 

covered then with layers of paper strips and painted.

I have handwritten one of my Afrikaans poems on his body.

For the daughter I have sculpt with #paperclay and also covered the whole face and body

with strips of paper and then various mixed media items was used to complete her:

#material, #laceborder and #broderieanglaise for her dress.

I have glued a crocheted jacket onto her dress and placed a chrochet hat on her head.

Her hair was made from string and 

her arm from string covered with paper and wire.

Pa en dogter is 24cm tall and 11cm in width.

New members to the paper mâché family: Elena hippie woman

The latest members of the Paper Mâché family is Elena Hippie woman 

Elena stands 25cm tall and is 10cm in width.

I have used #paperclay for her face and mixed media:

 #material, #chain, #beads, #wool, #paper for her body.
