Queen for a day was made from

#cardboard and her nose was shaped with

#paperclay. For the crown I have used

thick paper. She was then painted with acrylic paint.

Paper clay, paper mâché and mixed media doll

For the body of the girl I have used an #emptywinebottle. For the face
I have used #paperclay but without forming my usual nose that I use on
my #papermâchédolls. The bird was also formed with paperclay
and layered with strips of paper. For her hair I have used #hessian.
The complete girl and bird was then painted with acrylics
and the bird glued to her head.
She stands 44cm tall and is 13 cm wide.

For the house I have used a wooden block and added

layers of paper with paper mâché paste. 

The house was then painted with acrylic paint.

The house is 16cm in height and 4.5cm in width.

The side width is 7cm.

I have sculpt the shape of the woman's head and hair with #paperclay

and for her body I have used an empty #gluebottle. The stand on which

she stands is a piece of #cardboard. The #cat is a piece of #driftwood

and for her arms, I have used a thin piece of #rope.

I have used #acrylicpaint to paint her.

Woman with her cat is 15cm tall and 10cm wide.
